BEHIND THE MADNESS

I’m Demetris. I have a bachelor’s degree in Strength & Conditioning Science and a master’s in Human Nutrition.  I will help you build muscle using the best practices from the latest in the science of hypertrophy. I will help you lose or gain weight without hating food or yourself.

According to myth, Sisyphus was punished by the gods to push a rock up a mountain only to see it roll back down again when he reached the top. Forever. The futility of his effort parallels our incessant craving for meaning, and the universe’s indifference and silence. This world we inhabit is absurd. We are all going to die one day. Yet, we wake up each day and do what we must do; out of habit, revolt, sheer will, or simply as a giant ‘fuck you’ to the universe.

Sisyphus pushes his rock. That’s why he’s jacked. We are not so lucky: the gods have stopped caring, and we don’t have an eternity. Therefore, we go to the gym. In an absurd world devoid of meaning, training a body that is destined to rot might seem mad, but there is a method behind this madness.
